An Overview of Me

I grew up in Pretoria and completed my studies at the University of Pretoria in 2013. During this time I also met and married my husband. The rest of my training years were spent at Tembisa hospital in Johannesburg. After that we went on an adventure to Mosselbay for community service. In 2017 we relocated to the Northern suburbs of Cape Town where I have been in private practice ever since.

I have a passion for people and prefer to spend some time getting to know the person behind the medical condition. As a mother of two young boys, I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with raising children, especially sick children. I also have a special place in my practice for the modern mother and women’s health. Patients with chronic illnesses are another one of my main interests and I believe in joint decision making to get the best treatment and results. In supporting each other we look after our physical, mental and spiritual health.

When I’m not at the practice, I love spending time with my family, exploring many of Durbanville’s restaurants and wine farms. This of course has to be balanced with some exercise on my blue mountain bike!
